Always have the necessary tools when you purchase a home....
Ever start a home project and it takes twice as long to complete it because you spend more time trying to find the right tools? My best friend before I put my handy dandy tool box together was a butter knife. I know shameful! It worked in a pinch. Until one day when I was half was thru a project, tired and stressed because it wasn't going well and it was taking forever!!! So I thought, why don't you just get you butt up and find the correct tools. WOW what a game changer. My project time was cut in half. What a difference it makes when you use the right screwdriver or wrench. I could go on and on with the things I used with a butter knife. So I thought I would put together a small list. When you buy a house, condo or rent it's much easier in the long run to make a Home Depot or Lowes run and put your small tool box together.
Here are some basic tools you should always have handy. I actually made a tool box equipped with all the basics. As I do projects I keep adding tools.....a few suggestions for a start up tool box...
